Dr. Amjad Sabieha
is a specialist in Paediatric Dentistry and in Orthodontics.
Dr. Sabieha completed his M.D.S degree in Paediatric Dentistry
at the Birmingham Dental hospital (the University of
Birmingham), and the Birmingham Children’s Hospital at which
he acquired an expertise in the treatment of the medically
compromised and the physically challenged children. He
conducted research on the amount of fluoride in toothpaste and
on how to obtain the optimal amount within the first six years
of life without getting the adverse effects of the fluoride
(fluorosis). He also specialized in treating those cases
cosmetically.
Dr. Sabieha moved
on to start a PhD in Orthodontics during which he spent
another three years doing clinical training in orthodontics
alongside his research work in that field. Today, Dr. Sabieha
is in private practice at Saudi Medical Center 5th
Circle, the private practice is fully supplied with
sophisticated dental equipment, including the use of nitrous
oxide, especially designed for children and teenagers. The
dental center is decorated with friendly, relaxing furniture,
and colors to suit all ages up to 18 years. Dr. Sabieha offers
patients a 3D virtual reality camera designed for dental
purposes. While undergoing treatment, patients can watch
cartoons, sports, or music of their choice.
Briefly, it is a
highly specialized practice that will change the perception
towards paediatric dentistry and orthodontics and makes caring
for children’s teeth a much easier task. |
